Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual warfare is the ongoing battle for human souls between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. It is the default state of reality—not something that happens occasionally, but constantly.

The War Is Real

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." — Ephesians 6:12

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." — 1 Peter 5:8

Every moment of every day, forces work to draw you closer to God or further from Him. There is no neutral ground.

Satan's Strategy

Satan doesn't need you to worship him directly. He just needs you:

  • Distracted — consumed by entertainment, work, social media
  • Lukewarm — comfortable in powerless religion
  • Spiritually asleep — unaware you're even in a battle

"He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad." — Matthew 12:30

You are either advancing the Kingdom of God or aiding the kingdom of darkness. Even without realizing it. Even without intending to.

The Spiritual Realm

The spiritual realm is more real than the physical realm you can see.

Apostle Delmar has experienced this personally:

  • He has defeated Legion-level demons
  • He has freed countless souls from demonic bondage
  • His church's security cameras have captured footage of angelic beings
  • The angel of the Lord has spoken to him directly

Demonic Spirits

Spirits cause various afflictions:

  • Spirits of addiction
  • Spirits of depression and suicide
  • Spirits of lust and perversion
  • Spirits of gender confusion
  • Spirits of fear and anxiety
  • Spirits that cause physical illness

When these spirits are confronted in the name of Jesus Christ, they must leave. Deliverance ministry sets captives free.

Fighting from Victory

We don't fight for victory—we fight from victory. Christ has already won:

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." — John 16:33

"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." — Romans 8:37

Weapons of Warfare

The believer's weapons include:

The Word of God

"And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." — Ephesians 6:17

Faith declarations spoken from Scripture act like heat-seeking missiles against the enemy.

The Name of Jesus

"In my name shall they cast out devils." — Mark 16:17

The Blood of Jesus

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony." — Revelation 12:11

Authority Over Demons

"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." — Luke 10:19

Daily Vigilance

Spiritual warfare isn't just for crisis moments. Daily practices keep you battle-ready:

  1. Morning declarations before your feet hit the floor
  2. Constant meditation on Scripture
  3. Guarding what you consume (entertainment, media, relationships)
  4. Walking in obedience
  5. Staying connected to anointed covering

The Stakes

The stakes are eternal:

  • Your soul
  • The souls of everyone around you
  • The advance or retreat of God's Kingdom in your sphere of influence
