The Fire
Fire is the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit working through yielded vessels. It is the central image and reality in Apostle Delmar's theology.
Biblical Foundation
The first time the Holy Spirit was poured out on believers at Pentecost, Scripture records:
"And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost." — Acts 2:3-4
This wasn't metaphorical language. The Holy Spirit manifested as fire.
The Six Properties of Fire
Fire has six essential properties that define how the Holy Spirit works:
1. Fire Purges
Fire purifies. Like gold refined in fire, the Holy Spirit burns away darkness, sin, compromise, and lukewarmness.
"For our God is a consuming fire." — Hebrews 12:29
Without purging, there's no power.
2. Fire Illuminates
Fire provides light. The Spirit of Truth reveals what was hidden, exposes lies, and guides into all truth.
"But when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth." — John 16:13
3. Fire Provides Energy
Fire gives warmth and power. When the Holy Spirit fills you, you become passionate, bold, and alive in ways never before experienced.
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you." — Acts 1:8
4. Fire Releases Miracles
When the Spirit comes UPON you (not just IN you), supernatural acts happen—healing, deliverance, raising the dead.
5. Fire Gives Authority
Fire gives delegated authority over darkness. The first sign in Mark 16:17 is casting out devils.
"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy." — Luke 10:19
6. Fire Multiplies
Fire transfers through proper spiritual alignment and apostolic connection. The anointing flows from the head through the entire body.
"It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments." — Psalm 133:2
What Fire Actually Is
Fire is:
- What happens when God's Spirit fills someone completely surrendered to His will
- The supernatural power that heals cancer, raises the dead, and casts out demons
- What distinguishes powerless religion from authentic Christianity
The Declaration "FIRE!"
When Apostle Delmar lays hands on people and declares "FIRE!", he is releasing the same power that fell at Pentecost—the burning, purging, illuminating, energizing presence of the Holy Spirit.
