Chapter 10: The Vision
Written by: Apostle Delmar and Gary Sheng
Write the Vision and Make It Plain
God doesn't leave His people wandering without direction.
"Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." — Habakkuk 2:2-3
There's a reason God commanded this. A vision not written is a vision easily forgotten. A vision not made plain is a vision that confuses instead of mobilizes. God wants the vision so clear that someone running past can read it and immediately understand.
So let us be clear about what we see coming. What we have seen in the Spirit. What the generals of faith spent their lives preparing the ground for. What this entire book has been building toward.
The Way of Fire is not just for individuals. It's for nations. And what's coming is nothing less than a Third Great Awakening.
The Current Moment
The secular experiment is collapsing. Meaning, purpose, identity: all were supposed to emerge from human reason alone. It hasn't worked. Depression, suicide, loneliness at epidemic levels. Political ideologies promising utopia, delivering division. A void secularism cannot fill.
But something is stirring. Church attendance rising in unexpected places. Young people showing up at prayer gatherings unthinkable five years ago. Public figures testifying to Christ.
The ground is prepared. The question is: what will be planted?
Why Miracles Are the Catalyst
Here's what most people miss about revival: it's not just better preaching. It's not just cultural trends shifting. Real awakening requires the supernatural.
Jesus understood this:
"And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased." — John 6:2
The crowds didn't follow Jesus because of His arguments. They followed because they witnessed the impossible. Blind eyes opened. Paralyzed legs walked. Demons fled at His command. The supernatural was the evidence that authenticated His message.
The same pattern runs through every genuine revival in history.
The First Great Awakening under Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield was marked by physical manifestations of the Spirit's power. People fell under conviction, cried out, experienced what Edwards called "religious affections" that transcended normal emotional experience.
The Welsh Revival of 1904 saw entire communities transformed. Coal miners came up from the mines singing hymns. Pubs closed because no one came. Crime rates dropped. And at the center were supernatural encounters.
The Azusa Street Revival in 1906 introduced the Pentecostal explosion to the world. From a small warehouse in Los Angeles, fire spread globally because people witnessed things they could not explain. Healings. Tongues. Prophecies. The supernatural authenticated the message.
A Third Great Awakening will require the same.
Good arguments can win debates. Only miracles can shatter worldviews.
Think about it. When someone close to you—your mother, your spouse, your child—receives an unexplainable healing, everything changes. You can dismiss a theological argument. You cannot dismiss watching cancer disappear from your loved one's body.
This is why the enemy fights so hard against the supernatural. This is why cessationism spread through the church, a doctrine that conveniently removes the one thing that would expose the impotence of lukewarm religion.
But God is raising up carriers of fire. People who will demonstrate, not just declare. And when the demonstrations begin in earnest, the awakening will follow.
What We Have Seen
We don't just teach about revival. We have seen it in the Spirit.
Apostle has walked in this dimension for over 42 years. The visions are consistent. The urgency is increasing. We see massive gatherings—stadiums, open fields—where the sick are healed en masse. People who came curious leave transformed. The power so undeniable that entire cities are shaken.
We sense a quickening. Both darkness and light intensifying simultaneously. The enemy knows his time is short. But God's response is not to match; it's to overwhelm. Greater power released. Greater authority delegated to those who will carry it.
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams." — Joel 2:28
This is not future tense only. It has begun.
This isn't wishful thinking. It's happened before. Billy Graham's 1973 Seoul crusade drew over one million. Kathryn Kuhlman's miracle services filled the largest venues in America. Smith Wigglesworth saw the dead raised. What's coming is an acceleration of what they walked in.
The Nation of Fire at Maturity
The Nation of Fire is not a denomination. It's not an organization. It's a prophetic identity for believers worldwide who refuse to settle for powerless Christianity.
But what does it look like when this nation reaches maturity? When millions, not thousands, are walking in fire?
Churches where healing is normal, not exceptional. Every congregation has people trained to pray for the sick with expectation. Testimonies of supernatural healing are regular occurrences, not rare stories from decades past. When someone in the church is diagnosed with illness, the immediate response is confident prayer—and they expect results.
Believers who pray with expectation, not desperation. The mindset shifts from "God, please do something" to "Father, I receive what You've already provided." Faith declarations become lifestyle, not emergency measures. The same authority Jesus delegated to His disciples operates through ordinary believers.
Families where faith is demonstrated, not just discussed. Children grow up watching their parents operate in the gifts of the Spirit. They see prayers answered. They witness deliverance and healing in their own households. Faith isn't an inherited religion. It's a lived reality.
Communities that become arks of flourishing in dark times. As the world grows more chaotic, these communities offer stability. Not because they've isolated themselves from reality, but because they're anchored in a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. They attract people not through clever marketing but through undeniable fruit: strong marriages, purposeful work, genuine joy, supernatural encounters.
The multiplication effect. Fire spreads. One believer walking in authority trains ten. Those ten train a hundred. The anointing flows from head to body, from pastors to congregations, from the mature to the growing. What starts in small pockets becomes a conflagration that cannot be ignored.
The Ripple Effects
When the Nation of Fire grows into maturity, the consequences extend beyond church walls.
Culture shifts. When the supernatural becomes visible and undeniable, the secular narrative collapses. Materialism cannot explain what people are witnessing. Media can try to suppress or mock, but eyewitness testimony has a power that propaganda cannot match. The Overton window shifts. What was marginal becomes mainstream.
Families are restored. The same Spirit that heals bodies heals relationships. Marriages on the brink are reconciled. Generational curses are broken. Children who were on paths of destruction encounter the living God and are redirected. The opioid epidemic, the suicide epidemic, the loneliness epidemic: these are not primarily policy problems. They are spiritual problems that require spiritual solutions.
Communities are rebuilt. Throughout history, revival has produced practical fruit. The Great Awakenings birthed hospitals, universities, and movements that abolished slavery. When people encounter God, they don't retreat from the world—they engage it with supernatural energy and clarity. Business is conducted with integrity. Art reflects beauty and truth. Education trains the whole person. The spheres of society are renewed from within.
The gospel reaches unreached peoples. Jesus was clear:
"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." — Matthew 24:14
The fire doesn't stop at national borders. The same power that transforms an individual in Texas can transform a village in Indonesia. As the Nation of Fire matures, missionaries go out not just with a message but with demonstration. Signs and wonders authenticate the gospel in cultures that have never heard.
Historical Precedent: It Has Happened Before
None of this is unprecedented. It has happened—on every continent.
Azusa Street (1906). William Seymour, a son of former slaves, led meetings in a small Los Angeles warehouse where the Spirit fell. Tongues. Healings. Prophetic words. From that one room, Pentecostalism spread globally—now the fastest-growing segment of Christianity. One room. Fire that changed the world.
Latin America (1950s-present). A century ago, almost no Protestants. Today, Pentecostals represent a massive and growing share of the population across Brazil, Guatemala, and beyond. This didn't happen through programs. It happened through power.
China (1950s-present). When missionaries were expelled under Communist rule, experts predicted Christianity would die. Instead, the underground church exploded. Persecution only spread the fire further.
The Welsh Revival. The East Africa Revival. The explosive growth in South Korea. These are just a few examples of global movements of the Spirit.
What if the same thing happened in your city?
The Window Is Now
There are seasons when God moves in unusual measure. Doors open. Harvest is ready. The Spirit is poured out.
These windows don't stay open forever.
We speak with urgency about this moment. Not fear, but urgency. There is a window of opportunity right now. The cultural exhaustion with secularism. The hunger for transcendence. The younger generations who never bought into the materialism that captured their parents.
But windows close.
Israel had windows of visitation throughout their history. Some they embraced. Others they missed. Jesus wept over Jerusalem because "thou knewest not the time of thy visitation" (Luke 19:44).
We believe we are in a window. We believe what you do in this season matters more than what you did in the last season or what you will do in the next one. This is a kairos moment—a divinely appointed opportunity.
The question is: will you be part of this?
The Call
If you've read this far, you're not here by accident.
The Way of Fire is not a spectator sport. It's not a theology to admire from a distance. It's a path to walk. And if you walk it, you become part of something far larger than your individual life.
Everything in this book has been building toward this moment. The truth that matters. The battlefield you're on. The fire that's available. The miracles within reach. The power of declaration. The daily disciplines. The daily resistance required. The levels of authority to ascend. The right partnerships to form.
Now you know where it's all going. A Nation of Fire that shakes the world. A Third Great Awakening that redefines the spiritual landscape. The gospel demonstrated with power across every nation.
Here's what you do next:
If you haven't given your life to Christ, do it now. This is where everything begins. Pray the Salvation Prayer in Appendix B. Mean it. Then everything else opens up.
Get baptized in the Holy Spirit if you haven't. This is the gateway. Without the Spirit upon you, you're trying to run a race without legs. Find a church or ministry that operates in this reality and receive what's available.
Find covering. Position yourself under legitimate spiritual authority where the fire flows. Don't try to walk this alone. Elisha needed Elijah. You need your covering.
Practice daily. The declarations. The warfare. The disciplines. This is not one-time commitment; it's daily lifestyle. Victory comes through consistency.
Spread the fire. You receive the fire not just for yourself but for others. Who in your life needs what you've received? Start there. One conversation. One prayer. One demonstration of God's power.
Pray for the harvest. Jesus told us to pray for laborers to be sent into the harvest (Matthew 9:38). The harvest is ready. The laborers are few. Pray that God raises up an army of fire-carriers.
This Is the Vision
This is the vision: fire-carriers by the millions, the supernatural normalized, cities shaken by undeniable fruit.
Now you've read it.
Run with it.
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." — Habakkuk 2:3
